    Vicalloy Iron-Cobalt- Vanadium Hysteresis alloy strip made in China

    Vicalloy is a family of cobalt-iron-vanadium wrought permanently magnetic alloys. Vicalloy is precipitation hardened and can be formed by a number of cold working techniques. It is commonly used in electromechanical device applications, such as Wiegand wires because it shows a large Wiegand effect.

    Note:
    A ductile, semi-hard magnetic alloy which has been used in laminations for hysteresis motors. Alloy exhibits highest efficiency (loss per unit magnetic field strength) of any known material.
    Vicalloy I is a cobalt-vandium-iron ductile permanent magnet alloy.  The material is used in electrical and electronic applications.  Magnetic properties are optimized by heat-treating cold rolled material.  Vicalloy I has a relatively high remanence and low coercive force.
